These are a much underrated engine and have the nick name of being hand grenades. This is only due to the complexity of the build if one doesn’t know what’s involved however once the mileage is recorded and noted this is an engine not to be overlooked especially if power is what you’re after. These engines can come in capacities from 2.0L to 2.8L and are rare but mainly found in Mark 1 or mark 2 escorts or F2 period cars.
